Wasn't like they'd never talked about it.

Hell, Sanji'd been quite clear on the point. He was a man, and men did the fucking.

'Course, he'd been pretty sloshed at the time, so maybe, probably, he didn't really remember.

It was understandable the cook would worry about that, with his delicate face and pretty hair and narrow shoulders and that girly hip-shot pose he was so fond of. They screamed "effeminate", and Sanji wouldn't stand for being seen as anything less than a man.

Zoro, though... After 2001 defeats at the hands of a girl, Zoro only really cared that his swordsmanship be respected. Being a man only mattered for the strength it brought him (although having the parts he did was kinda fun).

Besides, from what he knew, from the generally happy, eager sounds Johnny had always made after those two goofballs had spent an evening getting drunk and friendly and had made their excuses, the so-called "girl" of the pair had a pretty good time.

But Sanji cared, and Zoro supposed he could forgive the blond man his hypocrisy.

So when Sanji asked... Well, close enough. The unrestrained desire in his voice had nearly undone Zoro on the spot. And he'd figured it'd come to this sooner or later anyway.

Making sure Sanji knew what he was doing, at least enough to do it right, had been all the delay he could stand to impose. Just a moment to force calm on himself, before he lost it completely, brought the evening to a premature end.

Even if Sanji didn't want more out of this than the mere comfortable companionship and mutual release he insisted this was? Sanji's pride, Sanji, was worth it.

Zoro didn't do things he regretted, wouldn't mourn giving it up to the man he...

Yeah.
