Summary: Luffy wanted something done about the mess between his guys. Captain's Orders, right?

Notes: Love Tesseract Arc returns with a bang whimper! Follows the whole mess: "Close Your Eyes", "Eyes Wide Open", "Number One, Baby", "Dangerous Game", "See No Evil", "No Good Deed", "Hear No Evil", "Speak No Evil", and "...Goes Unpunished".

Nami had two choices. She could let the boys work it out themselves, which would be messy, loud, painful, and take forever. Or, she could lend a hand.

Nami wasn't feeling patient. And there went her best hope now...


"Oh, Sanji-kun!"

Dread settled in Sanji's heart, even while his eyes lit up and he turned an automatic twirl across the galley floor as she stepped in. "Hai, Nami-swaaan?"

She snapped the door shut behind herself, and watched Sanji flinch.

"You heard what I told Luffy?"

"Yesss?" Sanji hesitated, hoping he didn't know where this was going.

"You can, though."

"Nami-san?" That was unexpected.

"You have to talk to him."

"Who?"

"Zoro, you idiot."

"Hai, Nami-swa--" A sharp crack. A moment later, Sanji transformed his hastily bitten-off reflexive curse into a tentative "Ow?"

"Enough. Just... Enough already. Stop. You're in love with Zoro. Quit mooning over me, quit staring at Luffy when you don't mean it, and quit bending over where Usopp can see your backside."

Sanji's mind stuttered, then picked up on, "Usopp? What does he--"

"Has a thing for blondes," Nami interrupted. She pointed at Sanji's face. "Or didn't he tell you?"

Oh, that. "He said her name was--"

"Kaya, I know. And so it is. Sanji-kun, I never thought you would fall for one of Usopp's lies."

Sanji winced as that thought settled.

Nami nodded. "Good. Now, you go straighten this out with that moss-brained idiot. Ja!" Then she was gone, leaving Sanji to wonder what the hell had just happened.

And, whether, simple as Nami's instructions were, they'd really help anything at all, given the mess he'd already made of this whole affair.

Well. This situation definitely called for the stronger stuff, he decided. And maybe he'd better bring a glass for himself, too.
