Title: Popping Cherries

Sanji sat sundaes before the crew. Plucking up a cherry, Nami grinned.

“They say if you can tie a cherry stem in a knot, you’re talented.”

“Talented how?” Chopper asked.

“Talented…” Nami hedged, “with your tongue.”

It looked as though only half the crew had got it. Sanji spoke up. “I’m not one to back down from a challenge; Marimo?”

“Ch…Whatever.”

“Sounds fun, don’t you agree, Captain?” Robin’s eyes sparkled mischievously.

“Let’s do it!”

Each pirate picked up a cherry.

“Wait, what’s the rules?” Usopp asked.

Nami paused. “Whoever ties the most knots wins… a special dessert from Sanji.”

“You get desserts all the time!” Usopp protested.

“And a day off from chores.” That sold everyone. Nodding, they popped a cherry into their mouths; faces twisted in concentration.

Chopper gave up. “I can’t do it.”

“I think I lost mine.” Zoro muttered, his tongue probing around.

“Even your tongue gets lost!” Sanji laughed, successfully tying his stem.

“He probably swallow-Ulp! Damn, I swallowed mine too. Totally unsuper.”

“I did ith!” Luffy crowed. He stuck out his tongue, which was tied in a knot. The stem sat unmarred atop it.

“Done!” Nami showed her knot.

“Oh, yeah? Beat that!” Usopp held up his, bearing two knots.

“I believe I’ve won.” Robin stated and showed her stem: tied in a perfect bow.

Sanji looked faint. “R-r-robin-chwan…”

Usopp threw his stem on the table. “No fair. I bet she used more that one tongue.”

Robin smiled mysteriously.

Luffy couldn’t get his tongue untwisted. “Thoro. I thimpk I beed helthp.”

Zoro rolled his eyes.

“So what else can your tongue do, Usopp?” Chopper asked. Everyone stared at them.

“Uhh… I have to go.” Usopp darted towards the door.

“Wait! Why’s your face red?” the reindeer hurried to follow, leaving everyone laughing in their wake.

That is soooo 110% Luffy, it just made my heart jump up and down and shout with joy.

I can really imagine that one happening. Awesome.

Hah, Robin owns all! Love Sanji's reaction to her achievement, and to Zoro's failure. And Luffy being so proud, only to find out he'd tied his own tongue was just the perfect tongue. Super! XD

Next time someone should tell Luffy he's suppose to tie the STEM into a knot...not tie his toung into one. Great job!
