I liked the fic. It was very cute and IC, and I agree that Zoro looks hot as hell in his Galley-La shirt, and the whole premise was pulled off well.
...That said, your author's notes before the fic turned me off pretty hard, and I nearly didn't read this. I want to be clear that I'm an avid fan of gen, slash, and het pairings in all of my fandoms, One Piece included, so I don't want you to think I'm a slash fanbrat with a grudge or anything, but this is a community for slash, and to me your notes came across as condescending and heavily looking down on slash in general. I understand that you probably didn't mean it that way, but...
Okay, imagine, hypothetically, that I'm someone who's vocal about being an exclusive slash fan and writer, vocal about not liking het or het pairings, and then I post a SaNa fic to an exclusively het One Piece community with the following preceding it:
Don't get too excited, _____. When I saw the prompt, I thought of Sanji being a sharp dresser, and somehow that train brought me to Nami's love of shopping, and then... this happened. The one line that makes this het pains me slightly... XP NOW FOR THE LOVE OF ALL BLUE, SOMEONE ELSE WRITE SOMETHING!!! I don't wanna win by default (or at all, since I technically shouldn't even be ON this comm in the first place...) Now excuse me as I go drown myself in ZoSan... XP
Do you see what I mean, at all? Not liking to read or write slash isn't a view that I have any issue with, but writing something and then posting it to a community that's dedicated to the genre and that's filled with people, myself included, who enjoy it and find it worthwhile, with a fic that you make clear pained you to write and going out of your way to spell out that LOL, no, you still dislike icky slash and will be running back to your het immediately, kthx bai One Piece yaoi fandom, is...not entirely polite or diplomatic of you, I'll put it that way.
I hope this doesn't read as a flame, because it's really not, and I apologize if it comes across that way. It's just a...heads-up, I guess. I enjoyed the fic.
