Excuse: None whatsoever. *hee* Pure stupidity. Because I already wrote het pr0n this week, and lots of it. Although there is a small observation about common yaoi pairings in this fandom that might have something to do with it.

Notes: I first met the EIG universe in GW fandom. It was the only possible way to explain how on Earth (AND the Colonies!), with over a dozen main characters, entire fics could be written without the briefest whiff of anything resembling a het pairing for any of them.

Excuse: Argh! So many lovely ideas this week, and I've been unable to sit down and put fingers to keyboard to write any of them out. You wouldn't believe how frustrating... Well, maybe you would. Then I realized I jotted this down last week when the topic came out. *wipes forehead* Yes, I know, I know, it's late... *grumble* Apologies if it's not as coherent as I think it is.

Notes: The quartermaster is usually in charge of issuing supplies, weapons, etc. -- hence the start. Of course, it's never, never that simple, is it? :S
