She stood before the mail box with the red rose in her hand, her long strawberry blond hair fluttering behind her in the soft wind while a smile graced her full lips. This rose was the first one of today and she was pretty sure there would be a blue one and a white one showing up later just as mystically at the front of her small house. And behind the tree over there, there was a half of a mustache peeping forth.

She could hear a chuckle, as from a giant child, travelling with the wind to her. So it really was him... She couldn't believe the rumors about that man, that he was a bloodthirsty pirate who murdered children and raped women just for fun. To her, he seemed like a really sweet and proud person.

But that didn't mean she would give in to his proposal before he had even talked to her properly, so she turned around and walked inside her house again to put the rose in the water. But maybe after another twenty roses, she would walk up to him and tell him that she'd rather have him take her on a date than flood her house with flowers.

Note; A bouquet of red, blue and white flowers represents a proposal of marriage.
