Title: His Weakness
Topic: vulnerable
Words:299
Pairing:Zoro/Sanji(SaNa & LuNa too)
rating:PG
Zoro knows his nakama well enough.
He knows that Luffy has taken up another cause and that in his hurry to rush off and clobber the wrong doer he had forgotten his and Nami’s Anniversary. That fell on her birthday. That she had been hinting about for months.
He knows that right now she’s vulnerable, feeling alone, and wanting nothing more than to be doted over and made to feel special, pretty, and every bit a desirable woman that she is.
Zoro knows that even as she is practically weeping at her desk, busing herself with her maps, there is a handsome blond cook crossing the deck with an offering of warm chocolate something or other and all the tea, kind praises, and attention she could drink up.
The swordsman also knows that the damn idiot cook is vulnerable too. Years of pining over the navigator, barely beginning to recover from the painful realization she had chosen their captain and that it was mutual.
Sanji was going to walk in with everything she felt she needed. He’d be unprepared to think when she pulls him close, Nami realizing for the first time what she could have all along. Holding him like he was her prince, her one and only, as long as she was in his arms.
He’ll move on instinct to brush away the tears and somehow they’d be kissing and doing things that would twist everything wrong. Things that’d make Zoro’s blood boil after waiting so long for the love cooks heart to finally heal.
An outstretched leg at just the right moment has the cook falling, dessert and all, to the deck. Zoro doesn’t pretend it was an accident, and instead relishes the attention as Sanji is focused purely on him again. As it should be.
