Cracking another barrel open, Usopp struggled to heave it over so that the oil would spill into the large puddle he already had going down the slope.

"So you see, since this is the only path to the village, the pirates will have to pass through here, and they'll find themselves unable to run up the slope, and give up, and the village will be saved!" the cowardly boy explained. "It's all part of the genius plan of Captain Usopp! Although, if they're persistent it will probably just slow them down...but it will still help buy us some time. And make it easier for you guys to fend them off."

Nami nodded, showing her approval of the idea, while Zoro and Luffy simply stood there, staring down at the slick path before them, a single thought being shared between their minds.
