Title: Present
Rating: PG
Characters: Marco/Ace
Word Count: 212
Prompt: Valentines Day
Notes: After having a drunken depression fest last night, I wanted something not depressing. Also, I'd kill to see Ace and Marco dressed up in a tux.
Marco found his cabin dark and draped with some filmy cloth. The door slid shut behind him, plunging the room into total darkness for a few moments. Then there was a snap, and Marco was blinking in the light of dozens of candles. The flickering light shimmered on the red silk that was draped about, framing Ace as he sat in his chair.
Marco blinked and resisted the urge to pinch himself lest he were dreaming. Instead of his usual boots and black shorts, Ace was wearing a full three piece tuxedo, complete with a bow tie. He wasn’t sure what puzzled him more: where Ace had come up with the costume, or how the hell he knew how to put it all on.
Ace gave him a wide grin before rising, the movement smooth and cat-like with his youthful grace, and crossed the room with his long-legged stride.
“What’s the occasion,” Marco asked, running a finger down the smooth line of Ace’s jaw teasingly.
“Happy Valentine’s day. I’m your present, you get to unwrap me.” Ace’s voice was smooth like the draped silk and sultry, sparking a shiver down Marco’s spine. It hinted at what lay beneath the fancy clothes, promised him a night filled with passion.
He began with the bow tie.
---
A/N: I'm just going to sit here and blatantly ignore the fact that Oda killed Ace. Ace is not dead. Not. Dead. *stubborn face*
