He’s woken up from sleep with the quick, feather-light touch of cool flesh to his cheek. At first he thinks he’s still dreaming, sighs, and pulls the cover up further.
A minute later, the light touch returns for a moment before it’s gone. Knowing that he hadn’t dreamed it after all, Paulie blinks his eyes tiredly. And again the touch comes back, this time the fingertips lingering on his cheek. Then there is the light digging in of claws… no, fingernails, then they are gone again.
The next time, the nails, no those were claws after all, dig in further till it’s an annoyance, just shy of being painful. Now fully awake, Paulie slaps the hand away from his face and sits up to glare at the other man, stretched out on his side in a long line of naked flesh in the warm morning sunlight. Seeing how the early light glints off of golden cat’s eyes, how his wavy black hair is a tangled mess around his shoulders, Paulie can’t keep the glare up for but a moment, because it’s just too goddamn early for this shit.
“You are such a cat,” he mutters as he pulls the cover back up and shifts to his side, ignoring his bed mate. Lucci spoons against him, licking Paulie’s neck with that wet sandpaper-rough tongue, his only reply a deep rumbling purr.

A/N: There is a major lack of Lucci porn (if you could direct me to some I'll love you forever and make you brownies)... that I can find, at least. Also, my cat, Neko-chan, has woken me up by patting me on the cheek then slowly starting to dig sharp claws in till I look over to find a giant black mass of dumb, fluffy kitty in my face meowing till I decide to pet her. Usually at stupidly early hours of the morning too.
I'm gonna... just.... go sit in this corner... and be a dork. Don't mind me.
