Because pain waits where you least expect it and even the strongest are vulnerable^-^
It had taken Kaku hours of coaxing and convincing, seducing and tempting (and an incredible amount of drinks) to get this far.
'This far' included Rob Lucci kneeling above him, giving him the perfect opportunity to drink in the sight of the lithe frame he had as yet only dared to admire from afar.
Lucci, stripped down to the waist, ran his hands all over Kakus body. Teasing. Agonizing.
Kaku moaned. He felt the heat rising between them and yearned for more.
His hooded eyes found Luccis face, his lips. He craved those lips, longed to feel them crushed against his own.
Kaku yanked him closer and -
"Yeowch!"
Paralysed, it took Kaku some time until he discerened the noise as a shout of pain.
Lucci glared at him.
Well, one eye glared at him.
Before Kaku realized what had actually happened, Lucci had left the room, one hand firmly pressed against his right eye, the other gripping clothes and hat.
Something clicked into place in Kakus brain.
Oh, fuck no!
He groaned.
"Someone please kill me!"

A few days later in Enies Lobby:
"Hey Lucci! Where'd you get that black eye?"
"Fuck off, Jyabura!"
