Because it had to be done

Word Count: 100
Pairing: ...
Takes place sometime after the Davy Back arc.
Sanji had been waiting for this an eternity. It was a moment he had dreamed of, a desire of nearly unmatched intensity.
His hand had trembled a bit as he reached out to accept it, so much did he want this.
He had wanted it all along, jealously watching Luffy and Zoro... and then this. This was it, was what all his dreams had come to.
Inside, he died a little as he crumpled the paper in his hand. (Later, he would burn it.)
His very own wanted poster - and he was wearing a fucking BALL on his head.

...sorry, Sanji-kun! I just couldn't resist. That ball is just too... special. And I've never tried writing humor before, so... um. At least I got it to 100 words exactly?

Date: 2004-11-21 05:07 pm (UTC)Poor Sanji-kun indeed!
I loved that scene where he got all jealous over Usopp being in Luffy's wanted poster. AND it led to him and Usopp dancing around together, which is always good... ^_^
Anyway, cute story, naye!

Date: 2004-11-21 06:25 pm (UTC)And it gets even better when Zoro gets a poster all of his own (and is very proud of this fact!), and Sanji still doesn't. Besides, I've always wondered where exactly the Marines get those photos for the wanted posters...

Date: 2004-11-21 08:15 pm (UTC)Don't worry about it, dude. I don't mind spoilers. ^_^
I already know a lot of the major stuff, including the stuff going on with Usopp right now. Have they resolved that yet? )-:

Date: 2004-11-21 06:28 pm (UTC)He'll get over it. He just needs to find whoever took that picture, kick them very hard in the head, and everything will be better!

Date: 2004-11-21 09:48 pm (UTC)I think we see the poster for the first time in 126? 127? Around there. Mmmm. I like the shot they use a lot! But it does make me wonder how they get these pictures in the first place.
