mirokus_heir at Yaoi Con and she asked if I would be interested in keeping an eye on this community, as she's very busy with her con schedule right now and doesn't have a whole lot of time to devote to fandom. I was amused because I'd actually been considering asking her if she'd like me to before she even asked. ::laughs:: I haven't been particularly active around here lately but I do keep up with things -- as does my underling, er, *partner* jadeprince. But in any case, I readily agreed.
Not that this community actually *takes* a lot of maintenence as the members pretty much run it themselves. I'll just be around to keep an eye on things. I'm so pleased that the community has taken off the way it has and continued going strong -- for nearly a year now! n_n We've got such a great team of writers here and I just want to encourage everyone to keep up the great work!
One thing I would like to remind folks is that this *is* a yaoi drabble community. There's no problem with drabbles that go over the 300 word limit or don't have a yaoi them or that don't match the week's topic, but those entries shouldn't be considered for winning at the end of the drabble-week. (Honestly though, don't let me discourage anyone from posting things not intended for the contest. n_n I think we all love everything that's posted here.)
In any case, I just wanted to let you all know about the MOD change. Keep at it!

(Side note...still love you guys and miss your One Piece fic immensely..I am DYING to see you guys do a thriller bark san/zo inspired fic. If you need monies I'll make a donation to help encourage it to happen, seriously...miss scuttlebutt talents so much.)
