Fic: Leap Of Faith

Since I was too lazy to go home in-between classes, I've staked out a hideout in the library and managed to actually be productive in writing.

Title: Give In

Pairing/Characters: Smoker, Sanji red shirt marines

Prompt: Leap Of Faith

Failed! at first time posting this. Sadnessssss.

Commodore Smoker did not enjoy being dragged to the small island’s gaol at a routine checkpoint stop to look at prisoners.

“Him?” Smoker asked as he released a breath of smoke, glaring at the tall and lean blond on the other side of the iron. The so called prisoner’s hands were gripped around the cell bars as he glared at the marines.  A young marine nodded and walked forward with a wanted poster outstretched.

“We believe so. He looks like ‘Black Legged Sanji’ and since you’re one of the few to have seen him previously we thought you’d confirm it,” the marine explained as Smoker glanced at him. Moving his attention to the poster he glanced for show. He’d never forget a Straw Hat and that man on the other side was definitely one.

“Oi, you marines are killing people by keeping me in here,” Sanji interrupted.

“He’s been saying that since we dragged him here,” another marine voiced as Smoker only half listened. From the looks of it the marines hadn’t chained the pirate’s legs; so they didn’t know that this was Sanji and he was holding back...for the moment.

“It’s true! I gotta get back to that shitty village before it’s too late!”

Smoker stared back as the dripping of water echoing from the hallway to fill the silence. Glancing back down at the wanted poster and then up to the blond the Commodore handed the poster back to the marine and turned around to the stairs.

“It’s not him,” Smoker said with his back to them and climbed the stairs. He heard the questioning pause before the clicks of a lock were heard. He was taking a leap of faith in believing that the damn Straw Hats were already dealing with the rogues he was also pursuing.

Ha! I was actually thinking of you when I was writing this. I wouldn't have done a SmoSan justice in so few words. Maybe I'll give it a try in the furture. Anyways I'm glad you enjoyed this :3

Kyaa! Smoker/Sanji! XDXD I was actually writing a collab with this pairing, though it got suspended for awhile, but it strikes me as a very possible one and they just don't get enough love!!
I liked this one, the surrender Smoker showed and how he hoped secretly strawhats are doing in fact his job, lol!
