Ah! I came up with a fic for the new topic. I used Johnny and Yosaku again... I love those guys!

Title: No Regrets

Pairings: Zoro/Luffy, Johnny/Yosaku

Topic: Minor Character Inclusion
Note: Takes place during that three day party in episode 44





Johnny sighed.

"What's wrong," asked Yosaku.

"It's so sad... what if bro never tells Luffy-bro how he feels?"

"That WOULD be sad," Yosaku agreed. Then, with a nod of determination, he headed out to talk to his stubborn friend.

"Oi! Yosaku! Where are you going?!"

He walked right up to the table where Luffy and Zoro were sitting. "Hey, bro! What do you think you're doing?"

Zoro looked up at his friend. "Eh?"

"You always talk about living with no regrets! Well, you're gonna regret it if you don't tell Luffy-bro how you feel! And if you don't tell him, I-" He was cut off by Johnny grabbing him by the back of his coat.

"C'mon, Yosaku..." He turned to the others. "He's really drunk... he doesn't know want he's saying..." With that, he dragged the other man away, despite his loud protests.

"I'm not drunk! I know what I'm saying! TELL HIM!"

Luffy laughed as the two men departed. "Your friends are funny, Zoro!"

"Yeah, they are..." Zoro was also laughing. What could Yosaku have meant? He looked at his captain... and suddenly, like a five-ton hammer to the back of the head, it hit him. "Hey... Luffy...?"

"Yes, Zoro?"

"I love you."

Luffy looked at him for a second. Then leaped across the table and tackled his first mate. "I love you, too, Zoro!"

"Luffy! Luffy, we're in public!"

"So? No one's paying attention! Hey! What're ya doin'?"

"We're going to the ship, so we can have some privacy."

"Oh. Ooooohhh...."

Johnny and Yosaku smiled as they watched Zoro carrying his captain off for a night of debauchery. "Awww..."

"Race you to the hotel room?"

Yosaku smiled. "Last one undressed has to be uke!" He pushed his friend down and ran off.

"Oi! No fair, you bastard!"

Well, Johnny and Yosaku both seem to surpass normal logic often enough

Hmm... I suppose...Of course, so does everyone else on the show... ^_^

I can see them somehow managing to both be uke at the same time. I just won't know how until I see it.

Indeed! And they're so... goofy. Sometimes I think, "Zoro used to hang out with these guys?!" Then I see him and Luffy, and, well, I guess not as lot has changed... ^_^

You know, I think that you may be onto something here. I wonder if Zoro only wants to hang out with people that make him look cool in comparison. That may be the reason that he and Sanji don't get along all that well. Sanji seems pretty cool (until he's around girls), so maybe that really is the foundation of the rivilary....hmmmm..... ^_*

Actually, that's not what I think it is.
Despite his gruff exterior, Zoro's a sweet and... yeah, sometimes goofy guy. He actually laughs quite a bit, and isn't above jokes and pranks (remember him telling Usopp crew that they'd eaten him?). I think he ends up with people like Luffy because they keep him from being too serious all the time.
(shrug) That's my theory.
