It burnt his throat, made his stomach squeeze and bile almost reached his mouth. But he hadn't enough for tonight.
No more sake, rum nor wine, it remembered him of too much.
The bartender considered him gently.
"Closing time 's n' about 5 minutes. You sure you want another one ?"
Yeah, he needed it bad, the full bottle though.
"C'mon you've had enough for tonight, i know you're used to it, man, but still, it's a pain to see you every night drowing like that. Why don't you get some rest home ?"
Home. The word he hated the most on earth, since he didn't felt home anywhere anymore.
He grabbed his glass and looked at the icecubes already melting. He hoped there would be some booze left to his place. Maybe some cooking-cognac, he didn't need it anymore since he had stop cooking.
Thinking about it he realised he had stopped everything. Cooking, training, chasing his dream. What was the point now ? He only wanted to forget all this shit, he was just waiting. His former solid body was a mess, only fed with liquors, skin on bones and eyes sunked with despair.
He was just waiting every fuckin'day on some fuckin men to pick him up, get laid and then dumped to the next tavern.
Drinking was the only thing he looked forward to. Drinking so hard he wouldn't remember his own name. The only way to forget His absence. It was too hard.
Whenever he was sober, when he closed his eyes he would see the green haired man smiling, fighting, but the thoughts always drifted away to end on his face twisted in pain as the sword pierced his left side.
Sanji missed Zoro so much.
