Mod update + Discussion post!

First I'm extending the topic of containment for another week, mostly due to my own selfish desire to write Zombie fic or someting but also because hey, no entries yet and that is a shame.

Second, the community is so slow lately and I am now asking for suggestions on how to make our community better and more active.

Perhaps we could make them more specific. Like give 2 situations or scenarios and then the pairing would be free choice. Maybe it's getting the plot wheel spinning that is the problem....

You could always try ridding us of those pesky 'real life' things we all have to carry around. *first time she's been on lj in a week*

Other than that... idk, Devlinn's idea sounds good, maybe more promo and showing what a happy community this is is in order.

We could add in a sort of 'old highlights' section for the winner when they post the new topic or something. Sort of encourage people to go back and read through the old entries, and then the winner posts a link to something from the archive that they really enjoyed with a tidbit on what made that fic so great. If nothing else it will make the comm seem more active, give new people more to read and hopefully encourage them to write by reading over some great old fics. ^^;
