Title: Four Horsemen
Rating: T
Word Count: 187 (I tried to make it shorter. Honest!)
Pairing: None
Topic: War
Notes: I should point out, that Kairiki is the name I gave this guy, whose POV this is in. According to the wonderful OP wiki, he is part of the Kairiki Destroyers, and I am super uninventive with names so Kaririki it is. Set, as you may already assume from this note, during chapter 330. Oh, and this is the most non-linear use of topic ever.
It seemed to Kairiki that the end of days should come with a sign. As he was propelled back through the doors of Franky House he supposed the heightened winds and waves were some kind of premonition rather than just a storm.
War, redcloak vest fluttering in the wind, cracked his knuckles as he dropped his fist. His hat shadowed his eyes, but he didn't need to see them to know that the world would crumble by those hands.
Famine stood on the far left, all tough skin and bones and grit to survive throughout anything. His cigarette burned like hells flame, and just looking at him made him feel hungry for forgiveness he will not get.
Pestilence was on the opposite, expression as resigned as a man who knew his illness was terminal. Silence shrouded him, and Kairiki could already see his brothers falling in his wake even as he approached.
Death was subdued, striding next to his brother-in-arms and Kairiki knew without looking there was no mercy here, not with this one. Slow and determined, he drew hisscythe sword.
The apocalypse was nigh.

Date: 2011-12-05 08:26 am (UTC)Buut Pestilence does refer to large plagues, which Chopper, as a doctor, is meant to heal. So its reallly a tenuous link, but it works! (kinda)
