...Christ, could you guys *possibly* have made this harder for me? *So* many fantastic entries this week, I was very pleased. X3 After *much* deliberation I finally managed to pick a winner. And it goes to blupard for 'Finding Home'. One of my absolute favorite things in One Piece is the whole backstory of Jaya and Skypeia, the way that it's this complete other story, the fairy-tale feel of it. It's such a moving, beautiful story, just another example of Odachi's genius. And I thought that this drabble was a wonderful concept for offering the unresolved pain of the story a moment of resolution, emotional relief. Another sort of happy ending for the fairy-tale, even if after death. Very, very nice. Take it away, darling.
