"Never?" They were drunk.

"Never."

"And it doesn't bother you?" Very drunk.

"No."

"But-" At least that was Sanji's excuse.

"No."

He didn't know what Zoro's excuse was. He knew there had to be one, for Zoro to be answering his questions – for them to be having this conversation at all.

"So you don't care about it at all?" The question was met with a shrug.

"Why should I?"

"Because you can't not care about it if you don't know what it's like, and then you'll know if you should." Definitely drunk, to be using that sort of not-quite-logic. Zoro seemed to agree, staring at him with a befuddled look on his face.

"What?"

Thinking obviously didn't work. So he stopped. No thinking, now, just doing, explaining the only way he could, getting his argument across in a most forceful way.

It was more than a kiss, this, roughly grabbing Zoro and pulling him close, molding his body against the swordsman's. More than just lips and tongues meeting as Sanji pressed against Zoro, hot and urgent, needing to make him understand, make him feel something – anything – which he wouldn't be able to dismiss so easily.

Zoro made a small noise, of protest, or surprise, his mouth opening invitingly. The warm taste of brandy there was far more intoxicating than the wine Sanji had abandoned only moments before, and he could not get enough of it.

Any further noises were swallowed by the crushing kiss, but Zoro made no move to break free of Sanji's grasp. The body under Sanji's sensitive hands spoke louder than words – tensing, seeking contact rather than avoiding it, flesh hot against the exploring, teasing fingertips.

"This is why," Sanji whispered against Zoro's throat, his hands stealing lower, and after that no more words were necessary.

One of the very last eps of the Alabasta arc... 127 or 128? It's very, very funny (I love Nami there!), and also cute. Mm. And hot. Overall, one of the many bestest scenes ever! ^_^

(Even Luffy and Chopper - hence the "healthy boy" comment Oda makes later, in response to a reader's question of "Why would Luffy do that?". Zoro, however, choses to stay where he is. ^^) Anyway, Nami's response to this is wonderful. <3
