"More than me?" Luffy's voice was quiet. But true to nature, his gaze was firm as he stared down his sharpshooter.

Once, Usopp would have cringed, backed down, simpering. Not now, not anymore.

"I love that ship more than almost anything." The truth.

Luffy frowned. It wasn't an answer, and in the set of his jaw he asked the same question again, insistant.

Usopp loved the Going Merry. But he wasn't a coward.

He took that step. The last one between them, and he circled his captain in surprisingly strong arms.

"No,” he said. “Nothing more than you." The truth.
