It was the warmth that Luffy liked most about winter. He had never needed umbrellas or snowsuits, because it was fun to get wet and fun to get dry. He'd soak through until he was burning against the cold, alight like his brother was. Then he'd come in and throw it all off and be cozy, bare as born.
It was even better now that he had family--even if they did protest his running around stark naked. Toweled off as he ran by, hair still damp, he'd leap into the pile of blankets and cuddle up to screeches about cold rubber feet. You could get drunk on that warmth, and he nearly always was.

He can stretch like rubber (duh), and when Wapol tried to eat him, he described him as chewy (wow, that sounds kinky) but I never thought that his skin would feel like rubber.
