First of all, great job everyone on all the entries. .n_n. The holiday spirit was great -- so many well-written stories filled with nakamaship. Awesome.

Needless to say, it was quite a challenge picking out a winner... in the end though, mei_yanohi's 'Miracle' really stood out to me. I fell immediately in love with the whole concept of it. And I thought it was very well executed, particularly for a concept that I know I would have a *terrible* time trying to keep under 300 words. I especially loved the role that Luffy's candle played in it. Just lovely.

So, Mei, what would you like me to draw for you? n_n Pairing, scene, illustration from a particular drabble? Whatever you want.

I know. But... well, I kinda felt like it'd be better if I expressed myself then let it fester. Then you could say your piece (peace?), and it'd be out in the open and over with.

I've actually kind of had the idea of writing a fic where Sanji and Zoro first shebang-bang just because they're determined to prove they're better than the other one.

"Shebang-bang"...?

But, I dunno, I think I want to do more justice to your topic and make something better.

Yeah, the challenging Sanji to show his eye is actually a pretty good idea, but mostly I was saying I'd want Mei to do the Sanji eye topic, which she really wants to do, because I would write Sanji having a gun barrel eye as a joke. Haha, mostly because she thinks I'm crazy for thinking that's what his eye is.

Ah ok.
Is there any reason you can't write it anyway? I mean, if you wanna wait till "What's up with Sanji's eye?" is the actual challenge (and I think it's a good idea), I can understand, but there's o reason you can't write it at any time, ne?
