"Get out." Smoker said, unamused.
The way he said 'Get out' and not 'Get the hell out' almost sounded like an invitation.
"Shouldn't you be sticking that jutte in my back and telling me that I'm under arrest?"
"I said get out of the room. I never said anything about leaving the island."
"Ah, but if I leave the room I'm leaving the island. I don't have any other business here."
Cocky grin firmly in place.
Completely missing the ashtray, Smoker stubbed a cigar out on the table. It wasn't like him to be flustered. This was very high on the list of 'things Ace did that pissed him off'.
Ace gave the door handle a very obvious half turn.
Smoker allowed some of the rising smoke to hang in front of his face in a way that skewed the tattoo from his vision.
"Bye, then." Ace grinned and tipped his hat.
One foot out the door and he already felt a wisp of smoke licking his heels.
Smoker was fairly sure there was a word for this. He was also fairly sure that word was "fraternizing".
A closed door, followed by a few calculated strides. A grudging kiss, a couple of walking fingers and a hat flying aimlessly like a frisbee.
Ace would leave the island early in the morning.
And Smoker would pretend that he never saw him.

Notes: I apologize if Usopp is OOC here. My excuse was that he did sort of turn into a different man when he beheld the 'fro. XD
"Are you sure about this, Usopp?" Luffy's nose wrinkled in confusion.
"Oh yes, quite sure." The afro was set gloriously on a wig rack where he was applying the final puffs of hairspray and teasing it to perfection.
It had gotten a little crumpled when he stuffed it in his bag quickly before any of Foxy's crew noticed.
"It can make you into an animal, Luffy. If you know what I mean."
"COOL! Like Chopper?" Luffy's eyes sparkled as he beamed up at the marksman.
"Well, not literally. More like an animal in the bedroom. If you know what I mean."
"...but Chopper sleeps in the bedroom."
"Oh Luffy. You have so much to learn. I can teach you. If you know what I... never mind. Just put it on."
And there it was. A sight to behold. So long had he dreamt of having this to himself. The object of his affection donning the hair that defied all logic and scientific description!
"Usopp? Are you OK?" Luffy tilted his head to the side. Usopp stood in front of him, lips and knees trembling in unison.
"Luffy... just come here..." He beckoned, nervously.
Usopp decided, several hours later, that committing the petty theft was indeed worth it.
It turned out that a punch wasn't the only thing that this mystical hair could strengthen.
