Pairing: Implied Shanks/Buggy, Alvida/Buggy

This is my first attempt at a drabble...forgive me...
Shanks couldn’t help but say something. It was the third time in the last five minutes Buggy had paused in mending the fishing net that sat between them to reach up and brush a stray pale blue hair from obstructing his vision.
“Why don’t you just cut it already?”
“What are you talking about?” Buggy looked up at his friend, a scowl on his face.
“Your hair” Shanks replied, pointing “It’s getting long, you should cut it.”
One side of Buggy’s lip went up just slightly. “Actually I was thinking of growing it out.”
“Well that’s kinda stupid...”
“Huh? Why’s that?”
Shanks just gave him one of those cocky grins he hated so much and replied “Cause everyone knows only cute guys look good with long hair.”
Pause
“WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN?!”
And so many years later....
Alvida sat down her tea cup, watching the captain of the Clown pirates across the table. Or rather watching his head sit ON the table while his hands were busy brushing out the long strands of blue hair.
“So that’s why you keep your hair so long?”
“More or less...”
“To spite him.”
Buggy sighed, picking up his head and reattaching it to his body so he could look the woman in the eye...instead of the breast which had been directly in his line of vision previously. “You’re the one who asked.”
“Yes well...he was an idiot.”Alvida sipped her tea, and then added “I think you’re cute.”
Pause
*cough*
“Especially when you blush like that...”
“....”
“Adorable.”
“WILL YOU KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY?!”
*giggle*
