Topic: Voyuerism
Rating: PG-13 for kinda-nekkie
Pairing: Ace/Smoker
Word Count: 221
Tashigi supposed she should have knocked first; had Smoker been awake... well, she didn't even want to think about the reprimand (and wasn't that the understatement of the decade) she would have gotten. She hadn't burst in, just opened the door and poked her head inside, expecting him to be reading over papers, not in bed, and meaning to tell him that Portgas D. Ace's skiff had been spotted, docked on the other side of the harbour they themselves were moored in.
She certainly hadn't expected the wide, dark eyes belonging to said pirate to be staring back at her, clearly startled by her abrupt entry. Though he had obviously been about to slide out of the bed, neither of them moved, until Tashigi blushed, realizing that the bedsheets, riding low on the muscled stomach, were the only thing covering Ace.
He flashed a grin and winked at her when he grasped that she wasn't going to raise the alarm. Flushing darker yet, she very carefully, very, very quietly pulled the door shut and tip-toed away from Smoker's quarters, shooing most of those who were awake back to bed, informing them that the sighting had been a false alarm.
After all, it was the least she could do for Ace making sure Smoker was fast asleep when she'd made her blunder.
