Shanks grumbled as he dug through the pantry. There had to be something in there that would soak up some of the alcohol in his system so he could sober up. At least so he was sober enough to figure out where Ben had hidden the rest of the booze so he could get drunker.
Hmmm...apples, no. Canned tuna, no. Saltines, maybe. Rice, what?
“BEN!”
The dark haired pirate put down his book as he captain came running it, banishing an orangeish box. “What is it now?”
Shanks shoved the box in his first mate’s face. “When did you start making rice? And what did you convert too?”
“Shanks...”
“I didn’t even know you were an uncle.”
“Shanks....”
“And since when are you black?”
“SHANKS!”
“What?”
Ben grabbed the box “Stay out of the pantry when you’re drunk. Actually...just stay out of the pantry.”
“Will you make me some rice?”
Sigh “Yeah ok...”
“Fried rice?”
“Don’t push it Captain...”
