It's wrong to say you doesn't miss his presence around you, but you say it anyways. You tries not to show that you're lost, and that you have given up trying to be found. Everybody and nobody are looking for your mind, your soul. But they aren't there anymore. Why didn't you goto the funeral last night? Is he that much on your mind Zoro? Do you hate him for it? Do you hate him for getting what he craved, and then just deciding to up and die?
We all know that you both had something more then Nakama-ship between you, something deeper. Something stronger. We knew this by the way you let Luffy climb into your hamoc with you, and how you held him against you, kissed his forehead. No one was blind to it like you hoped. Everyone knew you had emotions because of that.
It was almost like you loved him. I think you did, didn't you Zoro. The way you're now sitting where he did, as if you think no one else misses him... We do, but not to the extent you do. We understand you're pain... in a way. But what did the 'Ever So Happy Captain' ever say to you to get you this way? What did he say to make you cry before leaving? Did he ask you to kill him? Did he tell you what he said to Nami? Did he ever say the same thing twice...?
You loved him didn't you. He knew it, and he told you he loved you back, didn't he? Is that why you're so sad? Why you're not mock-sleeping on the ground, wanting to get away from it all. Do you close you're eyes to see him standing there just waiting for you to follow him into the world of the dead?
We can only try to understand whats going on... But we know to keep our distance. Zoro, you're our Nakama.... it was for the best... We can only ask of you one thing...

I could feel him whisper my name against my neck, his hands guding mine to his sides, I could understand what was going on... but what was happening. All I knew was this may be the last time I would see my captain. But where was he going? I know he was the true Pirate King, the king of All dreaming Pirates... after all... We found One Peice. I think I understand what was going to happen, but If he did what I think he was planning on doing, I'd kill him. And myself for killing him. I could feel the blood pouring down my chest, staining his red Shirt... Best Swordsman in the world. Besides his captain. I know what I wanted too do now, I wanted to kiss him, but Luffy's eyes were begging me to pay attention too him. Didn't he know? I always have paid attention to him...why would this change.
"...Yes...?"
"...I did it... but now its time to do what I should've thought about before this..."
"...Which is?..."
"...should I die? I've killed so many..."
"Shut up, think about it later. Kiss me now"
I crush my lips against Luffy's. I can feel his lips against mine, I know he's made his choice. He would die...
...and I would die besides him.
After all, isn't it like a game of Follow the leader?
