It's oddly based on a true story.. thats all I can say.

Don’t Promise Me Anything
Usopp folded his arms and brushed the tears away from his eyes as he looked over the dark deck and at the stars above. He bit back another small sob and brushed another tear away from his eye. He thought Sanji would be with him for along time… he promised and weren’t promises meant to be kept?
Zoro stretched and yawning turning the corner and seeing Usopp slumped over the railings, he scratched his head and leaned on the wall closing his eyes. He knew what had happened, it wasn’t any of his concern but he still didn’t agree with it.
“Stop blaming yourself it was bound to happen” Zoro opened an eye to watch Usopp jump and whip his eyes before turning to face him.
“I’m not! I’m over him…”
“Right.. Look, Sanji had feelings for Nami a lot longer then he did for you, you have to except and let go. It’s not good to dwell on the past” Zoro mumbled.
“But.. Did he have to…to…you know?” Usopp let out a sigh and leaned against the wall with Zoro.
“It was wrong I know, he knows and she knows too” Zoro was shocked himself he thought they were both happy.
Usopp tried to fight back a small sob but failed; he leaned against the green haired male and was shocked when an arm was slung over his shoulders.
“He wasn’t the only one who had suppressed feelings for someone. I just didn’t act them out”
Usopp blinked and stared at the taller male who just nodded his head pulling the long nosed boy closer.
“I can’t and I won’t make any promises to love you forever or anything like that…”
“..I know….thanks…” Usopp smiled and felt like a weight had been lifted.
