a few quick notes regarding the community

First off, I'd like to share with you folks that I went through and recorded all the topics that have been used to date. This isn't for the sake of preventing re-uses -- there's really a few topics that I think could easily be repeated. X3 For instance, food was used twice and we got great drabbles out of it. It's really just mostly for reference. The list is here: http://www.scuttlebutt-inc.com/topics.txt and I'll probably update it once a month and put a link to it in the user info.

Secondly, a note to those of you picking the winner each week -- don't worry about waiting til midnight to pass the torch. There's no specific time you have to wait til -- and I don't want people losing sleep over the community. ::laughs:: It's *nice* if you can wait later than sooner, for the sake of last minute entries, but by no means do you have to bend your own schedule.

And lastly, a quick reminder that this community is intended only for drabbles, not discussions or ads. onepieceyaoi or one_piece are where you want to take that stuff. Other posts will be deleted.

Keep up the great work everyone! I wish I could properly say how much this community delights me and I'm so happy that it's still going strong!

*cough* Actually, it'd be super cool if all the entries were archived under memories. That way, you could easily look up back entries and such. I realize it'd be a pain to do that for the past entries, but if you just regularly do it for current ones then the work load is easier XD

Oh wow -- I didn't think of that. It's a good idea but I'm not sure I have *quite* that much time. But, at least with the topic list if you're looking for entries pertaining to a topic you can go by date and look at the calender view.

*laughs* YOu know, I was kinda hoping for that when I saw your post- then I had a doubletake at the link, and realized that's not what you meant. ...and if you felt like modding me for the week, I'll do it while the girls are at work- since I'm off visiting on vacation... ^_^

Question...are you refering there to just actual posts or do you mean the weird ass little discussions we tend to have in commenting? I just wanna be clear so I don't annoy anyone more then I normally do...

On that note- I always assumed commentary outside of a drabble was ok if it accompanied a drabble (in my case,usually under the cut...) Am I mistaken in this?

It doesn't matter how crazy all the commenting gets, as long as the original posts are only drabbles. Since that's like... the point of this community. She just means don't make posts with links or spam or rants about 4kids or long fics here.

I'd think the only restrictions in comment posting would be to refrain from any sort of negative comments about pairings or characters, etc.

I'm assuming the commentary that goes along with a drabble is fine as long as it's on topic and probably under the cut if it's more than a few lines long.
