My first drabble! ::squeal::

Hi ya'll! This will be my first drabble! If you chose to read it, thanks! I'm so glad huabot chose to follow through with the fairy tale theme because this hit me right after that week ended. ^_^ Its a bit fluffy so I hope you like it. Oh and this is my first lj-cut, so I hope it works...


Title: "Shoe"
Rating: PG 13 (for language)

Pairing: Zoro/Lu




Zoro watched as his Captain raced ahead of the others. They were barely in the GrandLine town for five minutes and Luffy was already getting himslef separated.

As Zoro was watching the figure disappear into the crowd, Zoro's foot kicked something at his feet. It was Luffy's sandal.
"Che.." Zoro sighed. Luffy would miss that and look like a complete jackass walking around with only one shoe on, he did that enough even when he was fully clothed. Zoro scooped up the shoe and proceeded to race after his giddy Captain.

It took half him half a day to find an enlarged Luffy gorging himself in one of the sleazier bars in town. Walking into the bar, he walked up behind Luffy and smacked him up-side his head with Luffy's own shoe.

"Zoro! What was that for? Wanna fight?!" Luffy raised his fist.

"Baka! I've been racing after you're ass all day trying to get your shoe back to you!" Zoro waved Luffy's shoe into front of his face.

Luffy tried to look over the girth of his stomach and wiggled his toes. "Yep, its not there, thanks Zoro!"

"And don't expect me to race after you everytime you lose something", Zoro lied. He was perfectly happy racing after his Captain. Luffy needed all the help that he can get at times.

"Ano...Zoro can you put my shoe on for me? Please?!" Luffy pouted and Zoro's heart melt.

He slipped Luffy's on his foot. "Humph, fine, I guess somebody has to be your prince."

LOL! Yeah, I can see that. Poor Zoro and his terrible sense of direction...

Yay!
ZoLu are my One True Pairing (OTP), but I actually write a lot of stories on this group (and some on the other OP yaoi group on lj) with them with other characters. I like putting the others together, because there's different dynamics with the different guys. But really, I think Luffy belongs with Zoro. ^_^

I'm glad you like it, it inspires me to continue ZoLu drabbles.

Also, a few editing notes:

Luffy was already getting himslef separated.

"himself"

and:

Zoro's foot kicked something at his feet.

"foot...feet" is a bit awkward. And it's really not necessary; if you kick something, it's at your feet. You could either edit the "at your feet" out, or maybe change it to "on the ground". The latter would convey the same idea, and preserve the word count.
I'm not trying to be critical, I'm just trying to help. ^_^
