Who... me?
Apr. 7th, 2005 07:02 amWow... THAT caught me totally off guard. Thanks! ^_^
Ok, thought about it for a bit (since I was very, not prepared), and I'm not sure how to put it, but what I'll go for is an exaggerated genre/writing style. Looking at the stint of 'bad harlequin' drabbles a while back (which was a favorite) got me started, but if you'd like to do a really theatrical drama? Go for it. A shadowy Mystery? Be my guest. (Clue style? Luffy, in the galley, with the drumstick...) Feel free to use cliche's at will. ^_~ (Unless, of course- this topic sounds stupid... because I was drawing a blank)
EDIT:
jadeprince explained this a lot better than I did, and thus I quote: "It's like... playing to a particular writing/literature/film cliches/genre. Example: Romance novel, film noir (aka detective stories), maybe even Sentai show (aka Power Rangers), anything that just has a particular or recognizable -feel- to it, so that someone reading it could go 'Oh! You're writing this like a Japapese game show or a broadway musical!' "

Date: 2005-04-08 07:28 am (UTC)Frankly, I don't think he'd really care, as long as he could move around freely in it (ie, it wasn't too tight). Sanji would look cute in a dress. Usopp... maybe. Zoro... O_O
