"I sat back after a long hard day, watching the smoke curl toward the ceiling. I didn't know, then, that she'd walk into my life. I should have suspected from the beginning that she had an ulterior motive- one that would drop me, hard, when it suited her. All I saw at that first meeting was a pretty face. Never trust dames, I tell ya- you'll end up regretting it in the end."
He sighed, twin wisps of smoke issuing from his nostrils as he pushed back from the table he sat at, watching the heavy air above him. "All it would take her was a better deal, a few belli and she'd throw me to the wolves in a heartbeat." He looked back, idly, to the woman now outlined in the doorway; her shapely curves the first thing he noticed.
"Sanji-kun", and at this she batted her eyelashes demurely, "could you come do me a favor?"
Monologue quickly forgotten, the blond surged up from his seat, falling over himself to do her bidding.
"Yes, Nami-swan!"

Sorry I hadn't replied on anyone's yet- I was working Tekkoshocon this weekend (*winces*) so I'm gonna have lots of stuff to read tonight. ^_^
