What Are Friends For?
The small reindeer winced a little and tried to reach one of his antlers. He had gone into the storage room and a box of fishing equipment had fallen on him and one of the hooks had attached itself to the small metal band around his antler.
“Hey Chopper” Usopp stepped in and blinked seeing the deer.
“What happened?”
“Fishing hook…stuck…hurts” He sniffed.
Usopp kneeled down and tried to untangle the hook from the metal, it seemed the ring of metal had come lose and the hook was wedged in. He twisted it a little and saw the dear’s expression change from pained to relieved.
“Good news it doesn’t seem to be hurting… bad news is.. It’s stuck” Usopp mumbled.
Chopper looked down disappointed he didn’t want to look even worse then he already did, he blinked when Usopp got a pair of pliers he had been using himself awhile ago and clipped off the sharp bit and top bit bending the metal so it looked like it was a normal ear piercing.
“See! Now it looks like it’s on purpose” He stepped back and admired his work.
“I look horrible…”
“I think it looks cute..”
Chopper blushed and looked down at his feet before back at Usopp who seemed to be grinning and digging around for another fishhook. He pulled it out and handed it to Chopper.
“I have an idea”

“Are you sure about this Usopp?” Chopper held the sterile needle away from his ear.
“Yeah, go on” Usopp winced when the reindeer placed the makeshift ring into the small hole in his right ear.
“Does it hurt?”
“A little…”
“Why did you..”
“We match now don’t we?” was all Usopp said as he grinned at his friend.
Chopped nodded being glad he had a friend like Usopp.
