Pairing: Zoro/Sanji
Words: 300
Rating: PG
Sanji was unquestionably one of the stealthiest members of the crew -- he was light in weight and step, more aware of himself than Luffy or Usopp, without the clicking heels that gave away Nami or Chopper. The only one who had an advantage over him was Robin, due to her ability to slap you on the ass from across the room. It was the cook's ultimate vice that gave him away -- the tiny wheeze in his breath and the constantly lingering smell of cigarettes. Zoro was sure that the cook must know that any attempt to creep up on him was in vain but still, there he was. Painfully light, slow steps approaching where the swordsman rested against the railing.
Granted Zoro was still half asleep. He didn't have to wake up to know the Sanji's scent, to sense him crouching beside him. He was more interested in sleep though and didn't bother to rouse himself, ignoring the cook.
It was a moment later that a soft, warm breeze disturbed the gold ingots that dangled from the swordsman's ear. Were he more awake, a shiver might have traveled down his spine.
When no response was elicited there was a light tap along the three delicate bars, rousing him further awake as an odd tightness formed in the muscles of his back in response. A brow twitched.
It was only when a warm, wet tongue traced over his earlobe that Sanji got the desired response, Zoro's hand snapping out for his wrist, yanking him forward, away from the teased flesh.
"Konoyaro." He glared into Sanji's face, earning a smug, mischevous grin.
"Dinner's ready, asshole."
Zoro shoved Sanji to the deck before hauling himself to his feet. A boot lashed out for good measure, tripping him as he stalked for the galley.
