“Oi. Stupid cabbage head. How much longer is this gonna take?”
It was, Zoro thought, rather amusing to watch the chef squirm. Who knew the idiot would be so uncomfortable just standing in the doorway of the small shop? The man handled knives every day, had no qualms about kicking swords out of the hands of anyone who drew steel against him. But apparently the sight of the piercing guns and tattoo needles bothered him.
All he really needed was a new back for one of his earrings. The fact that it was missing and they were standing here was the asshole’s fault anyway. Letting him stew a little while longer would be fun. The place had a lot of different types of body jewelry, more than he’d seen before. Who would have thought people would put something that large through their ears? Or that they’d bother getting pierced down there? And then he spotted another tray. Now there was an idea.
The crap cook might actually look good with one of those. Certainly it would make the familiar path he traced with fingertips or tongue more interesting. He could just picture it, a small hoop or maybe one of the bars with the pointed end caps. Very sexy. Zoro threw a glance over his shoulder back at Sanji. The blonde was smoking again, dragging hard on the cigarette the way he always did when he was pretending he wasn’t nervous.
“You done yet bastard? I need to get back to make Nami-san and Robin-chan’s special mid-afternoon dessert, not wait on your slow ass.”
“Shut up dartboard brow! Nobody asked you to come. I’ll finish when I’m ready.”
On second thought, perhaps the shitty chef didn’t need any adornment. It would be the wrong look for his stupid face.
