It had happened by accident. Zoro had been prepared to fall asleep at the table, but the stupid cook had wanted something from him. He'd announced this in his usual manner, by aiming a kick at Zoro's head. Zoro'd stopped it instinctively, and here they were. Arm wrestling. If the term could be applied with Sanji in a handstand.

The rival arm and leg stood deadlocked and vibrated violently with applied pressure. The men grunted and strained. Neither could make any headway, but they sure as hell weren't going to back off.

Eventually, the table solved everything by breaking clean down the middle.

Sanji picked himself up out of the rubble, only to see Zoro grinning fiendishly.

"What are you smiling for, shithead?" He spat out his cigarette. "You broke the table."

"Because I know something you don't know."

"What?"

Zoro flexed the arm he'd used. "I'm not right handed."

Nice, bluepard! I love the image of them... limb-wrestling. And the right-handed thing; yeah, Zoro does seem to fight with his left hand a LOT, so that could well be the case. And a Princess Bride ref thrown in, to boot! ^_^

I realized his swords were at his right side, which might not mean anything since he uses 3 damn swords, but hey. It amused me.

I thought so, but can't rely on my memory. ^^;

Besides, Oda no doubt did it for character design purposes. (Earrings on one side, swords on the other or sommat.)

Well, he usually has three, yes, but we have seen him use just one, and when he does he uses his left hand.

actually, when i took kendo like.. last year, you're supposed to put your left hand down further on the sword hilt than the right. i can't remember the reason why but that's why everyone is supposed to do it. so, you get reach when you swing with your left hand than with your right. my sensei then pointed out that all left handed people had an automatic advantage because their left hands would be stronger and they'd could get more distance when swinging their swords. you learn random things like that when you're left handed... bwhahah hand of the devil!!!
