May. 9th, 2005 10:47 pmTitle: Necessary Evil
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 263
Pairing: Sanji x various
I was just ready to go to sleep when the inspiration for this hit me like a ton of bricks. So I apoligize if I've made any poor grammer/spelling errors.
The doors to the seaside provisions store slammed open as a bedraggled swordsman rushes in, bee lining to the register. Zoro slams a thick wad of berries onto the counter and looks the young cashier clerk with eyes full of desperation. “Cigarettes,” he demands not giving the clerk time to say a word, “I need cigarettes.”
“H-how many packs do-“, the cashier begins to ask, but is stopped short by the swordsman shoving the handful of berries in his face while telling him, “As much as this can buy.”
The flustered clerk takes the money which is pushed into his hands. His jaw about hits the ground as he finishes counting it. “S-sir, there has to be about 2,000 berries here!”
“It doesn’t matter! You don’t know what it’s been like on the ship without them. It was fine at the start and a great way to spend the night, but it didn’t stop there. Day and night, in every room and position possible. There are foods that I can never look the same way ever again. Look the captain and I can handle him fine, but I don’t think our sharp shooter can last much longer. Now give me the fucking cigarettes!”
As quickly as the man brings the cases of cigarettes out Zoro takes them out of his hands and rushes out the door towards the Going Merry to save his nakama. If he had known what a total nymphomaniac Sanji became without his nicotine fix, he would’ve never let Nami throw them out during the ships cleaning two weeks ago.
