Usopp sighed as he checked his watch again. It was obvious the female cashier at the pharmacy counter wasn’t going to be off her shift anytime soon and be replaced with a ‘male’ cashier. And he really couldn’t afford to wait any longer.
Might as well get it over with...
The pirate stepped up to the counter, coughing slightly. “Umm, excuse me.”
“Can I help you sir?” The blond young women was a little too perky and it wasn’t helping the blush already creeping over his cheeks.
“I need some..umm..well that is I....oh boy...” Damn this was hard.
“Sir?”
“C-condoms!” Usopp finally spit out “I need a box...please...” He added lowering his voice.
“Of course.” The woman just smiled, reaching under the counter. “Would you like any particular kind? We have them with ‘Spermicide’.”
“Uh...what’s that for?”
“To prevent pregnancy.”
“....that’s...not gonna be an issue.”
“Oh...” The cashier retrieved a box of mediums, placing them on the counter for the boy.
The blush was covering most of his face now. “Er...I kinda need a box of extra large actually.”
He could swear the woman was giving him a once over, eyes lingering below his sash.
“They’re not for me....”
Two minutes later a bright red-faced Usopp emerged from the store, brown paper sack clutched tightly in his hand as he made his way to the tall swordsman waiting for him across the street.
He shoved the bag into Zoro’s hands.
“Next time you and Luffy run out, buy you’re own damn condoms!”
