Comments: Beware the fluff! Also inspired from two sources...1. Homer Simpson in the Mr. Plow episode. ("Now all thats left is to play the waiting game. (pause) The waiting game sucks! Let's play hungry hungry hippos!") and 2. Kinbus beliopoly gets a mention here too! (I went to the site, my favorite skit is the one about drowning: "Timmy! Don't float above me when I'm dying in the Abyss!")
Sanji kicked Luffy out of the kitchen, and gave him a sharp look as he thumped on the deck.
“Dinner will be ready soon. You just have to play the waiting game.” He called from behind the newly shut door.
Usopp spotted a pouting Luffy from across the deck and came sat with him.
“What's up?”
“The waiting game stinks! Let's play Marco Polo!”
“Luffy, you can't play Marco Polo.”
“Who says I can't?!”
“That game is in the water, you'll die.”
“Oh. Well let's play it on deck!”
“Marco Polo doesn't exist on land, its called something else. Tag? No, you can see in tag...hmm.”
“Why can you see in tag?”
“So you don't run into a tree I guess.”
“there are trees in the water.”
“Uh, well tag is more a 'run and hide' game and Marco Polo is more a 'run away' game.”
“Anyway, let's play it!”
Usopp imagined Luffys rubber limbs flailing dangerously around the ship Kaya gave them blindly.
“Come on Luffy, lets play something else. How about a nice game of Beliopoly? Everyone likes that.” Usopp caught the smell of a roast on the air. “Dinner will be ready soon.”
Luffy suddenly looked very tired and leaned against Usopp in a semi-hug.
“That's okay, even the waiting game is fun with you.”
