Fingers threaded through thick locks of coarse green hair; a sad smile worn on a tear stained face, through the pain of loss.

What hidden talent was there in use here?

The ability to smile through death, the ability to know that no matter what you have to continue on, the ability to show strength when it was needed.

But that was all lost the moment a sword cut through a heart.

Tears were split.

A dream was shattered.

Three swords were sprawled onto the ground besides him, the sad smile lengthened slightly.

Shattered dreams always could be replaced with greater ambitions.

But a shattered soul couldn’t be replaced.

A new hidden talent was found that day. The hidden talent, of being able to continue on, the hidden talent of being able to smile, smile without a person around.

That was a true hidden talent.
