Title: If You Can Do It …

Pairing: Zoro x Sanji-ish

Arrgh. This came out prefectly in my mind when I first thought of it, but when I typed it up it didn't turn out nearly as well as I thought it would. T.T



Sanji can’t help but smile deviously as he looks down at the green haired swordsman. “Not as good with the ‘little sword’ as you thought you were, now are you?”

“Shut up crap cook, and just let me finish,” Zoro growls, stopping from the task at hand to glare up at the blond.

“But we’ve been at it all morning and you haven’t even come close to getting any better,” Sanji reminds him, “If you can only make it halfway after so long, I think it’s a good indication that you’re not going to get any better.”

“Hey, I’ve gotten pretty damn close before,” Zoro snaps back, “And there’s no way in hell you’re gonna be the only one who knows how to do this on the ship.”

“Why?” Sanji ask, amazed at the swordsman’s strong dedication. It had pure chance that Zoro had walked on the cook as he was finishing the deed. And from that moment the swordsman had become strangely obsessed on learning the skill. “You’re not actually jealous are you?” the blond teases happy to see the man bristle at the comment.

A slight blush rises on tan skin as Zoro answers, “It’s a matter of pride. Nothing more.”

“Sure, whatever,” the blonde says holding back a laugh. “But it’ll just be easier if you give up and admit that you can’t keep apple skins in one piece when you peel it.”

Poor Zoro will have to get to the verge of dying before he can make a mental break through that'll let him succeed.

This is why Zoro's only true calling is fighting. He could never learn something else. Unless it were like, shark taming or something.

Oh my GOD, I tried doing that for an apple-art stand and I ended up with, like, just a sliver of apple left -_- Much admiration to Zoro for his tenacity.

One more thing--I'm assuming they're gonna do something with those apples...? Even for something like this, I doubt Sanji would let Zoro just peel apples then do nothing with them. Maybe he'll make an apple pie!
