Homg look! I wrote more drabbles! I was actually talking to Beanchan about the topic and a couple ideas came to mind >>

Title: That damned pride

Notes: Spoilers for anyone not yet to Water 7, but I'm sure just about everyone here might be o-o; Probably not much comfort there either but oh well

He missed him, but with that pride of his, he refused to admit it. He missed being with the crew deeply, yet had to stay and make sure nothing happened to the Going Merry. That ship was his life, Kaya had given it to the crew after all.
Thought no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get the captain's laughing face out of his mind. He did everything to try and get that boy out of his head. Nothing was working and all he could bear to do was sit with Merry and stare out at sea. A single tear ran down the side of his face, all he wanted now was to return to those he loved and be held by Luffy once more.

Listening to the others go back and forth over something was distracting him, and the only thing he could really think of was getting the Going Merry fixed and back out at sea to continue. Nothing would stop him...except maybe food, and Usopp. No! He didn't have time to think about things like that once more, but those words he heard ripped him apart whether he showed it or not. Just to hear the one person he cared for say he never wanted to be part of the crew again...

Notes: Movie 4 <3, again not a whole lot of comfort and I'm going to hell for the cheesy lines at the end xD

"I've seen him before..." he searched his memory, yes that freckled face grinned right back at him when he found it. It was a wanted poster, but the amount had been burned off.
'Flame Fist Ace...that's your name. Yet here he is standing right in front of you practically flirting with this marine, and you try nothing.' He continued punishing himself for not even attempting to get near the pirate. It had to be more interesting to flirt with a marine than a bounty hunter any day. He continued on past the two just as the marine dissapeared inside a tavern.
"What's up with the jacket?" a voice called. He looked down at the word 'Sick' on his coat then over his shoulder at Ace.
"What's it to ya?" He replied quietly.
"The fact I can come up with a cure if your really that sick." Ace smirked, wrapped the two of them in a fire ring and kissed him deeply.

And possibly one more coming if I ever get any good ideas for it :D
