Title: Nightmare

I'm glad this topic was extended a week. I've been suffering the worst writer's block recently and was feeling so bad I couldn't get anything written for this topic. T.T


Sanji holds back a sigh as he is woken up by Luffy, as the pirate captain attempts to sneak into the cook’s cot. He waits patiently for the teen to comfortably snuggle against him before softly asking, “Have the same nightmare again?”

Luffy nods his head empathetically and tightens his grip on the blond as he asks meekly, “You don’t think I’m being silly do you, Sanji?”

Sanji smiles kindly at him as he pulls the blanket over them both while getting in a more comfortable position for himself. He then tells his captain reassuringly, “Everyone worries about silly things from time to time. But you can always count on me to be here for you, and to remind you that there always be meat in this world.”

Maybe he was dreaming he was in a dimension that had nothing but shrimp?
(a little shout-out to any fellow Buffy/Angel fans out there...)
(and, yeah, I know shrimp is "meat" but it's not... you know... MEAT)
