The Winner is...

Before I go on, I'd like to make a confession. When I picked this topic, part of me was thinking, "Heh, this won't bring that many drabbles. Maybe about, hmmm, eight at the very very most. Picking a winner should be easy."

I beg forgiveness for my sinful thoughts m(_ _)m
I have no clue how this topic managed to get you guy and gals to churn out 23 eligible drabbles this past week. I'm also amazed at the very unusual pairings that you all made possible. Although Zoro was used the most often, I was delighted to see such seme as Whitebeard (forgot he existed as a very obvious seme to Ace; bad me), Luffy, Usopp, Sanji, Ben, DoFlamingo(!!!), Chopper, Buggy(!!!), himself (i.e. masturbation), and even Paulie(!!!). And as I refresh the browser window, I see that I can add Aokiji to the list, too (24!).
I've also noticed that a few of you (you all know who you are) snuck some Smoker references in. Well, they were within the rules I specified, and some were quite cleverly done (especially![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
peach_chan 's).
Some special mentions:
The last two lines in Broken (goji) were hilarious.
Moustache in the Moonlight (invaderspork)...Ow ow ow owwww!!! I don't think it being Ace's 'first time' (<-are you sure?) really matters. Plus, I liked the Douglas Adams-ish writing at the end.
Midnight Hour (mei_yanohi), Cabin Fever (kinbu), Close to Perfection (sherrymarie): HAWT!!!
Sleeping on the job & Love Hurts (lady_karasu): Hehehehe... & Bwahahahaha!!
Curiousity (dethorats): "knew precisely what to do with a naked, upturned posterior...getting fucked by a reindeer was one of the better experiences in Ace’s life." Me like :-D
Ace Was Drawn to Him (cheetahgurl): DoFlamingo. 'nuff said.
Freeloader (beanchan): Another interesting seme.
And the finalists are:
Stiff Competition (kinbu) and Not Another One (ghostkotsuzaka)!
The former had hotness&funny while the latter had creatively-written-pairing&funny.
I so want to say you both win, but that's not allowed *sob*
...since I couldn't decide between hotness and creativeness, the funniness became the deciding factor.

The 'm's are hands (palms facing down, so there ain't no mooning). The '(_ _)' is the head with the '_ _' being eyes facing down because you're looking at the top of the head. So this represents 'bowing on hands and knees with forehead (almost) touching the floor'.
Bonus Japanese language lesson: This position is called "dogeza".
