Title: Making you Happy
Pairing: Sanji/Zeff (yes. I know. I KNOW.)
Rating: G
Word count: 423 (SORRY!!! I tried to cut it down but I liked it too much >_< )
Notes: ... um, I'm sorry? ... But come on, Zeff needs some drabble time too!
This was getting very annoying. The damn kid was following him everywhere and it was really starting to get tiring.
This all started 2 weeks ago when the kid started following more closely and stopped calling him ‘old geezer’ and ‘shitty cook’
Zeff decided enough was enough when Sanji started to act shy around him. All Zeff could think of was to yell at the damn 12 year old until he ran away with a hurt look on his face.
After about the hundredth scream fest directed at Sanji, Carne finally walked over to chat with Zeff
“Maybe you shouldn’t be so hard on the kid.” Carne suggested
“What the fuck are you talking about?” Zeff snapped back
“Well, y’know. He’s only trying to be nice.”
“No he isn’t. That little brat has never done anything nice. He’s just trying to drive me crazy!”
Carne thought hard and looked around. After doing a double take, he finally realized Sanji was looking at Zeff admirably.
To which Carne gave a hearty chuckle “Well Chef Zeff, it seems you’ve got a secret admirer!”
Zeff paled.
It all made sense. Sanji staying very close, Sanji being shy, Sanji blushing when ever he talked to the kid, Sanji apologizing for mistakes.
Zeff twitched.
“SANJI!” Zeff yelled to which the little blonde ran right over.
“Yes?” Sanji looked up with actual interest in what Zeff was going to say.
“Listen to me, and listen good. I don’t like you like that. I’m old, you’re young. And little boys aren’t supposed to like old men. Got it?”
Sanji looked hurt, and then down at the floor “… y-yes.”
Zeff sighed “Listen you little egg plant. Do you really want to make me happy?”
Sanji nodded his head franticly
“Good. Then go out and fall in love with some girls your own age. Fawn over them, follow them, do what ever. If you do that, then I’ll be happy.”
“… ok.”
“Now go finish making bread!”
“Yes sir!” Once Sanji knew Zeff couldn’t see him, he let the tears flow.

Zeff looked down the stairs to the main eating area of the Baratie
“SANJI! Get the Hell up here!! You’ve got meals to cook! What do you think you’re doing wondering down there?!” He managed to bellow at the now 18 year old blonde man.
Sanji looked away from the young woman he was flirting with and looked at the older man. He said nothing, but looked away and smiled.
“I’m just making you happy, you shitty old man.”
FIN!!
