This is one of those ‘I could get this idea out of my head so I wrote a drabble’ moments
Luffy frowned a little, concentrating on something as he ran his fingers throw the dark curly hair of the boy beneath him. Usopp knew that look his captain got far too well. He knew he was going to regret asking this.
“Luffy what are you thinking about?”
The rubber boy’s expression changed in an instant, a wide grin spreading over his feature. “That you look just like Yasopp.”
Oh yeah, definitely regretting it.
“You had to bring that up now?”
“You usually like when I tell you you remind me of him.”
“Yeah but...not at a time like this!”
“A time like what?”
“A time like...” Usopp paused and let out a sigh, trying not to let himself get more frustrated. “Luffy, what were we doing?”
“We were gonna have sex.” Luffy blinked. There were both naked, sprawled over one of the men’s quarter’s couches, Usopp’s legs wrapped around his waist. That was what Luffy had intended on doing next.
“Well you really shouldn’t bring up someone’s father when you’re going to do....stuff like that.” Usopp would have blushed if he skin weren’t already deeply flushed from their current activities.
“Oh.” Luffy still didn’t quite understand why his gunner was so upset. Maybe he was jealous or something.
“I mean how would you react if I brought up Ace...ok that’s a bad example. If I brought up Shanks...ok another bad example.” Usopp finally gave up defeated.
But then his captain leaned down, “I just meant I think you’re as handsome as your dad,” and kissed the tip of his nose. “But I’m happy I have you here instead of him.”
Even if Luffy was an idiot sometimes, Usopp would always forgive him...as long as Luffy kept reminding him why he loved him so much.
