It's like a bad Shonen-ai Scenario
Sep. 3rd, 2005 04:09 pmTitle: Divine Intervention
Topic: Female Involvement
Rating: PG (for implied?)
Pairing: ZoroxUsopp
Word Count: 290
It wasn’t as though Usopp was paretically clumsy or anything. But what could he do, he foot caught on ‘something’ and he fell...right into Zoro’s lap...
For the 4th time that day alone.
The swordsmen’s eyes opened slowly as his nap was once again interrupted by the tanned boy sprawled over him. At least Usopp hadn’t landed nose first on his crotch this time. “Oi, again?”
Usopp sat up, scooting away a little, his cheeks burning. “It’s not like I keep doing it on purpose!”
“You sure about that?” Zoro rolled to one side to get a better look at the gunner, he was awfully cute when he was flustered.
“Of course I’m not!” Usopp swallowed hard. Dang, why did Zoro have to look so handsome when he was being smug. “The ship must be...haunted or something. That’s it, the ghosts are tripping me!”
“Right...” Zoro laid back. Maybe he’d actually be able to get a half hour nap before Usopp ‘accidentally’ tripped again.
-----
“Damn, they were so close this time!” Kuina sighed from her perch on the railing, the white feathers of her wings flutters in the ocean breeze. “If I could just get Zoro to get off his lazy butt and act on his feelings.”
“I hope it happens soon, my poor baby is gotta get seriously hurt one of these times.” Bankiina adjusted her halo, frustrated. If she had known how many times they would have to trip up her son she never would have agreed to it in the first place.
“Relax, Usopp’s a tough kid. Four or five more little ‘accidents’ are going to kill him.” Kuina’s angelic face broke into a reassuring grin.
Bankiina just muttered. “And you wonder why you died so young...”
End Note: As far as I know that is official Usopp’s mom’s name ^^;;
