This is a follow up to this drabble, but it can also kind of be read as a stand-alone.

Title: Revenge

“Um, Captain Hina ma’am? Why are we going this way?”

“Hina wants to see something.”

“In the crew’s shower room?”

Hina’s “yes” brooked no argument and so Tashigi, despite her misgivings, followed the older woman into the bowels of Smoker’s ship. The sound of running water carried faintly through the door, but Hina reached unwaveringly for the handle. Tashigi’s protest died on her lips as the open layout of the room came into view.

For a brief moment all was still, shock evident on three faces while a fourth wore an extremely pleased smirk. And then a grin appeared on a freckled face and one brown hand resumed its stroking as Ace deliberately winked at the stunned young woman peeking around the doorframe.

Tashigi flushed bright red and turned around, kept from running away only by the steely grip Hina had on her wrist. If she’d had the nerve to look, she would have seen a similar color appear on her captain’s face, his however more the result of apoplexy than embarassment.

“Hina!”

The roar, half his voice, half his sudden conversion into smoke, echoed around the tiled room but Hina never flinched. If anything, her smirk only got bigger as she let her eyes trail over the pirate standing unselfconsciously in the shower spray.

“Very nice Smoker-kun, very nice. We’re even now, though Hina thinks you still got the better view.”

Then the door was closed on Smoker’s outraged cry of “damn you woman!” and Hina swiftly barred it before sinking to the floor and shaking. For a second Tashigi thought Smoker had done something before she realized Hina was laughing so hard she couldn’t even make a noise.

“Permission to speak freely?”

It took a while but Hina finally managed to nod.

“You’re an evil woman, ma’am.”
