Pair: Luffy/Zoro

Zoro sat quietly in the bar, finishing his third tankard of beer. He was planning to make it his last; then he'd head back to the ship and see what Luffy was up to. Perhaps they could have dinner together or--
"Zoro!" The swordsman turned just in time to get tackled by his captain. "Hi, Zoro," the boy said, perching himself on his first mate's lap. Zoro heard a few snickers and other comments from the assorted denizens of the pub. Luffy seemed oblivious. "Let's go eat!"
Zoro nodded, "Ok." He finished off his drink and got up. Looking around at sneering pirates, he reached back, grabbing Luffy's hand. He headed out the door with the boy in tow, his glare daring anyone to stop them or make a snide remark.
The rest of the day was uneventful enough; they wandered around the city, sightseeing and buying supplies, stopping to eat every hour or so. Luffy ran around, his usual cheerful, clueless self. He sometimes rode on Zoro's back, or walked hand in hand with him, or stole a kiss from him. Zoro had to deal with the occasional snicker or disgusted glare. But he didn't care. Being with Luffy was worth it.
Finally, it started getting dark, so they headed back to the ship. They went down to the men's quarters and snuggled together on the double hammock they'd gotten when they became an official couple. As they lay there, Zoro looked at his captain. Luffy had a thoughtful expression.
"What's on your mind, Luffy?"
The boy's brow furrowed even more. "Zoro... does it bother you when I hold your hand and kiss you in public and stuff?"
Zoro looked at his lover in surprise. "No. Why do you think it does?"
"Well, you don't ever do that stuff to me..."
The swordsman smiled. "Luffy... I don't do those things because..." he shrugged, "I just... don't. But I don't mind you doing them. I like it when you kiss me, and I enjoy carrying you around." Zoro thought it over a moment. "Does it bother you that I don't do things like that? Would you like me to--"
"Uh-uh," Luffy interrupted. "I like you the way you are."
"Same here," said Zoro, kissing his captain.
